Multi-Engine
Seaplane Flight Training
Multi-engine seaplane training is available in my 1946 Grumman Widgeon G44A with continental 0-470, 240 hp. engines and state-of-the-art WAAS Garmin 430 and King Avionics. The average student cost is around $3,500, (a little over 6 hours of flight time) including the check ride. The rate is $500/hr. Most students use less time/money. Ground school materials are provided. My course provides the essential knowledge and experience for passing the check flight, but more importantly introduces the student to many diverse situations in which a seaplane pilot may encounter, including takeoffs and landings in large and small lakes and operating around busy harbors. As a graduate you will leave with a level of confidence and knowledge that will enable you to operate safely in the most demanding of situations. My goal is to provide you maximum flight and ground training effectiveness with a minimum amount of time and money expended. I will do my best to ensure that the course will be both informative and fun for you.
Ground school materials will be sent to you in advance by snail mail requiring a refundable $100 deposit or by E mail for free and you can print them out at your home. To order the ground school material please E mail me at H2OFLIGHT@aol.com, or you can call me in Port orange, Fl. Chester Lawson at 386-761-1528 or cell 386-679-1653
